However, we are happy to perform an oil change as part of a larger repair or maintenance appointment.

Traditional oil change businesses purchase oil and filters in bulk and can often provide this service at a lower price than a mobile mechanic.

Wrenches & Rags operates as a mobile service and because we want to offer our customers the lowest cost possible, customers would need to purchase:

- Engine oil

- Oil filter

- Drain plug gasket (if required)

Additionally, our standard service call and labor rates would apply.

For this reason, we recommend local quick lube providers for routine automotive oil changes unless your vehicle is already being serviced for another repair.

When We Will Perform Automotive Oil Changes

We may perform an automotive oil change under the following circumstances:

- During a scheduled repair appointment

- As part of a larger maintenance service

- When requested alongside diagnostics or other labor services

- For specialty or classic vehicles where convenience is preferred over cost
