As a former dealer-certified Ford technician and working under a Chevrolet dealer lead master-technician, I would know that car trouble never picks a good time. A dead battery before work, a check engine light on the way to pick up the kids, a bike that won't start on the one morning you finally have off — it's stressful, and the last thing you need is a tow bill and a plastic chair in somebody's waiting room.
That's what I built Wrenches & Rags to fix.
I'm Kenn — I've been turning wrenches since 1998, and I come straight to you. Your driveway, your office parking lot, the shoulder of the road if that's where your car decided to quit. I bring the tools, the diagnostic equipment, and 25+ years of hands-on experience — including dealer-certified training at Lithia Ford — right to wherever your vehicle is.
Four wheels or two, my job is simple: tell you the truth about what's wrong, give you real options, and get you back on the road without wasting your time or your money.

Keep your bike or scooter running right with service brought straight to you. I work on a wide range of motorcycles, scooters, and GY6-powered models — diagnostics, electrical repairs, fuel system work, stator and voltage regulator replacement, carb cleaning, tires, winterization, battery replacement, and more.
Skip the trailer. Let me come to you.
I've been working on vehicles since 1998 — starting with my own cars, then friends, family, and neighbors who kept calling whenever something needed diagnosing. Along the way I spent a couple of years learning under an experienced Chevrolet Master Technician, picked up dealer certification at Lithia Ford working with manufacturer repair procedures and modern vehicle systems, and spent three years as Lead Mechanic at a motor scooter repair shop — everything from routine maintenance to full engine rebuilds.
Today that's more than 25 years of hands-on experience, and I still enjoy the same thing I did back then: figuring out what's actually wrong and fixing it right the first time.
I also don't mark up parts. You buy what you need from the retailer you trust, and you pay me for my knowledge, my diagnostics, and my workmanship — nothing hidden in the parts cost.
- Mobile convenience — no tow truck required
- Honest, transparent pricing
- $100 service call includes travel and up to one hour of diagnostics
- 25+ years of automotive and powersports experience, including dealer-certified training
- No parts markup — you buy what you need, I handle the labor
- Flexible scheduling around your day
- Locally owned — it's just me, and I treat every job like it's my own car
I don't believe in finding "extra" problems to pad a bill. If your car doesn't need something, I'll tell you it doesn't need it. If it does, I'll explain why in plain English before I touch a single bolt.

My service call and diagnostic fee is $100 (1-hour minimum) — that covers travel and basic troubleshooting. If you approve the repair, that fee is applied toward the work (except in rural areas and Canyon County, where 50% applies).
Labor is $100/hour, and I'll always get your approval before any additional work begins.
No surprises. No hidden fees. Just honest communication — the same way I'd want a mechanic to treat my own family.
My standard service call is $100 and covers travel plus up to one hour of diagnostics. Approved repairs are billed at $100/hour.
I'll always call and walk you through exactly what I found and what it'll cost before doing any additional work. No surprise charges, ever.
Yes — in most areas, it's fully applied toward your approved repair. In rural areas and Canyon County, 50% applies.

Yes. I run a labor-focused business, so I'm happy to install parts you've already picked up — you know exactly what you're paying for.
Absolutely — motorcycles, scooters, and GY6-powered bikes are a regular part of what I do, not an afterthought.
